Abelardo Ernesto Albisi (1872- 1938) è stato flautista e compositore italiano… Dal 1898, chiamato da A. Toscanini, diviene primo flauto alla Scala di Milano succedendo ad Antonio Zamperoni… L’opera è siglata alla fine con: G. Albisi Lucerna, 2 agosto 1922, e probabilmente il fratello Giovanni ha redatto come copista la partitura e/o parte di tutto il materiale manoscritto. La dedica A Nina ed il motto “Leonardo da Castel Lauro…Musica non parole” sono presenti in moltissime altre opere manoscritte di Albisi…
