Il mio Barcarola e Scherzo temo non sia altrettanto gradevole: un po’ troppo dissonante e ritmicamente spigoloso; per quanto l’arpeggio che sale e che scende, e il ritmo di 6 ottavi, richiamino una calma navigazione e lo Scherzo combini ritmi giocosi.
I am afraid my Barcarola e Scherzo is not as pleasant: a little too dissonant and rhythmically edgy. But the six-eighths bar and the ascending-descending arpeggios recall a calm navigation, and the Scherzo, vaguely palindromic, combines playful rhythms.
