Ricordàno De Stefani (Parma, 8 maggio 1839 – ivi, 3 marzo 1904) alunno interno della Regia Scuola di musica di Parma, studiò oboe con Luigi Beccali (1809-1886) ed armonia con Giovanni Rossi (1828-1886). il brano, suddiviso in due principali movimenti, richiama vagamente lo stile dell’operetta o quello di un morceau de salon caratterizzato dal fluire di limpidi e spensierati temi.
